When it was time for us to retire, the question was, "where?"
After checking out several communities, we knew Four Lakes was for us as soon as we drove in the
front gate. The community itself is beautiful and there are opportunities and activities for everyone.
Family and friends up north say we live in a resort! The people are so friendly and helpful.
Neighbors here have quickly become good friends.
We can honestly say that moving to Four Lakes was the best decision we ever made!

When we decided to move from Rhode Island to Central Florida in 1996, Four Lakes was the
first community we visited. Fortunately for us, none of the other communities we looked at
could compare in appearance, amenities or value. Four Lakes isn't just a group of homes on
streets with pretty names, it is truly a "community". We have made a lot of great friends
here who also enjoy the lifestyle Four Lakes offers. Whether you want to stay active or just
kick back and relax during your retirement years, we're sure you'll enjoy Four Lakes as much as
we have.

After living in North Florida for 29 years, we decided Central Florida was the place to be.
Through our research with AARP and the Internet we found Four Lakes smack dab in the middle
of the state! When we came thru the front gate for the first time, we felt like we were
home. Neither of us plays golf, but we knew it would be a very active community, and boy were
we right. Four Lakes is so warm and inviting. It just says "your coming home."

With 5 years to retire and living in California for over 25 years, we thought it was time to
investigate "retirement living" in Florida. One of our first stops was Four Lakes. When we
came in the entrance, it felt like paradise. We stayed for five days, met lots of new friends
and purchased our home knowing we were 5 years away from our dream. By the time we got
back to the West Coast, our 5-year plan had turned into a 5-month plan. Now, if someone
asks if we are retired, we say "we're unemployed, but with a fishing boat and golf clubs."
